The HSP/Case Manager works with residents and their families or custodians, coordinating individual, group and family therapy services, techniques and interventions. The HSP/Case Manager works with the resident to ensure all academic, therapeutic, medical, and dental needs are met. The HSP/Case Manager will normally work a forty (40) hour week, although the length of time may vary in accordance with job functions, team needs, and the needs of the residents and custodial figures.
The HSP/Case Manager must have an understanding of the concepts of residential child care and be able to work with young people who exhibit varying emotional and behavioral problems. In addition, this individual must be able to effectively relate to residents and parents/custodians of all social, economic, ethnic, cultural and educational backgrounds.
The HSP/Case Manager must be able to work with a minimum of supervision.
The HSP/Case Manager position requires an individual with demonstrated skill in performing the duties as outlined.
The position requires a Master’s degree or Bachelor's in a human services related field and minimum of 2 years case management experience. Preference is given to individuals who have previous experience in some area of child care, social work or secondary education.
