As an Account Executive, your mission will be to develop existing accounts and new accounts via telephone, face-to-fact interaction and cold calling. Although you will be communicating over the telephone, this is not a telemarketing position. This is a business-to-business outside sales opportunity which requires you to take a consultative approach to address each customer’s needs. You will be responsible for setting appointments, making sales calls, educating existing and potential customers, preparing proposals and making presentations. You will be calling on businesses in an assigned territory. After analyzing your client’s needs, you will present the best solution(s) that meets their requirements and close the deal. Account management is also critical, as you will be building a base of repeat business through long-term relationships.

This outside sales position focusing in NE Oklahoma does not require past sales experience, however, the following traits are essential to success:

Responsibilities:

  • “Get the sale” using various customer sales methods, such as daily cold calls and networking
  • Identify selling opportunities and evaluate the customer’s needs.
  • Create frequent reports with sales, quotes and financial data.
  • Maintain relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance; researching and recommending new opportunities; recommending profit and service improvements.
  • Meet personal and team sales targets
  • Maintain and expand client database within your assigned territory.
  • Research accounts and generate or follow through sales leads.
  • Continue learning the industry throughout career by attending meetings, sales events, and training.

Requirements:

  • Fast learner and passion for sales
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to meet sales goals
  • Prospecting and presentation skills
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach, strong work ethic in a fast pasted setting
