Lakeshore Little People's Place, a multi-site Christian licensed child care center, is hiring an Assistant Director for our Providence location (south side of Holland). The ideal applicant will have the following: previous experience in early childhood, the ability to direct and lead a child care center, strong management and communication skills, strong computer skills, and the ability to multi-task. This position will be responsible for assisting with the overall daily operations of our child care center, which includes 30 staff, 8 classrooms (Infant through School-Age) and over 100 families. This position reports to the Operations Director and the Site Director.

Qualifications

• Display your daily walk with the Lord, as is evident in your actions and relationships
• Be able to actively engage in positive communication and interaction with parents, staff, and children
• Proficient with computers and technology
• Be at least 21 years of age
• Meet all child care licensing requirements for a program director or willing to obtain (minimum requirement is a valid CDA, 18 semester hours in early childhood or child development coursework, plus 6 months’ experience working with children)
• Complete a comprehensive background clearance check
• Provide a negative TB test
• Be available to work Monday through Friday, as this is a full-time 40 hour per week position offered with benefits

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
