Our client located in Westlake is looking for a Lab Supervisor!

This is a direct hire!

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage 12 or more direct reports (Technicians)
• Manage all daily processes for testing, reporting, managing the employees
• Ensure Technicians are doing the following: Completing Inspections and electrical testing on time, working safely and efficiently, generating continuous improvement ideas, locating and storing proper documentation for reports, following ESD safety precautions, training and cross training the technicians for new processes, using ERP system correctly, Performing higher-level electrical tests like SEM, SAM, x-ray, temperature range testing, etc., and any other tasks as requested by the Lab Supervisor.
• Work with the General Manager to help develop and maintain processes for running the lab, continuous improvement, Lean, and more.
• Monitor employees time sheets, PTO, and smaller disciplinary actions.
• Provide performance reviews and feedback to Technicians.
• Help develop management pipeline for succession planning.
• Perform any other tasks as requested by the General Manager.
• Maintain good housekeeping and 7S.

Job Requirements:

• Four year degree preferred but not required (Business degree or equivalent highly preferred)
• 2-5 years experience in managing direct reports.
• 2-5 years experience in electronic/ Electrical assembly or in a lab setting highly preferred.
• 2-5 years experience in testing electrical assemblies or electronic components preferred.
