Electrical Project Manager

Position Summary
We have a great opportunity to join our team in Hudson, WI as an Electrical Project Manager .The ideal candidate will have an interest in electrical distribution, be a self-starter, have experience providing quotes, enjoy interacting with customers, and have strong analytical and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities Include:
  • Maintain relationships with our suppliers and customers.
  • Provide feedback on pricing, service, new products, quality, and customer needs.
  • Develop quotes, negotiate, and close assigned projected jobs with accurate, on time and understandable prices and terms.
  • Initiate customer contact and perform timely follow-up of inquiries and quotation requests.
  • Provide customer service including order entry, expediting, follow-up and other sales tasks.
  • Oversee order entry, submittal, shipping, expediting, and billing processes on project jobs.
  • Responsible for meeting or exceeding sales and gross profit objectives by working with JHL's sales and specialist departments.
  • Participate in market planning and strategizing for JHL's product lines as requested.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned by the Branch Manager or Sales Manager.
Qualifications :
  • High school diploma/GED required.
  • 2 years of electrical industry related experience.
  • Detail oriented, organized, consistent and tenacious.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office with emphasis on Excel and Outlook.
  • Familiar with Switchgear Programs (Empower/ABB)
  • Must be able to read plans and put bids together.
  • Strong math skills.
  • Collaborative personality-willing to listen and deliver information to a variety of stakeholders.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Self-motivated and self-starter.
  • Ability to effectively handle multiple tasks and collaborate within a multi-functional team.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
