Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Certified Professional Coder/Biller to join our team. As a Coder/Biller, you will play a crucial role in accurately assigning codes to medical procedures and diagnoses. Your expertise in medical coding will ensure that our healthcare facility maintains accurate and up-to-date records. This is a full-time position with competitive compensation. Must have at a minimum of 3 years experience in medical coding in an office setting.

Duties:
- Assign appropriate codes to medical procedures and diagnoses using ICD-9, ICD-10, and other coding systems
- Review medical records to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to clarify documentation and obtain necessary information
- Ensure compliance with coding guidelines and regulations
- Perform audits to identify coding errors or discrepancies
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information
- Stay updated on changes in coding regulations and guidelines

Skills:
- Proficiency in medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
- Strong knowledge of ICD-9, ICD-10, DRG, and other coding systems
- Familiarity with medical office procedures, medical billing, and medical collections
- Attention to detail and accuracy in assigning codes
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with healthcare providers
