Intermediate District 287 is looking for a Teacher on Special Assignment (Equity and Inclusion)! Intermediate District 287 is a west metro district for learners with unique needs. As an intermediate district, we provide specialized services, primarily setting IV special education, to students from 12 member districts in the west metro. What Makes Us Special:

In this role you will:
Organizes and assigns Educational Support Professional coaching and mentoring
Coordinates and facilitates monthly Educational Support Professional mentoring meetings and professional development
Participate in Building Leadership Team meetings and act as a site representative in District-level teams like Instructional Leadership Team, Well-Being Action Team, MTSS, Racial Equity Leadership Team
Assists program supervisor with developing program goals and objectives, and directing the day-to-day programmatic activities and functions and monitoring program progress;
Assists program supervisor with coordinating staff activities.
Assigns staff to classrooms, as well as to other program roles.
Facilitates all team meetings and updates staff with necessary information;

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and five (5) years of experience in an educational setting OR
Master's degree from an accredited university and three (3) years of experience in an educational setting
