Position Description: Use forklift to load products (roof and floor trusses, wall panels and lumber packs) onto trailers to make deliveries in accordance with scheduled commitments. Organizes yard to allow maximum utilization and spacing of products. Verify outgoing product deliveries to assure customer satisfaction while minimizing any unproductive wait time for truck drivers. Follows all legal and safety procedures.

Qualifications:

• 1-2 years of forklift experience
• Organize time to meet demands

OBJECTIVE

• Develop strategy to ensure all products are loaded accurately and in a safe manner
• Pre-load orders whenever possible
• Report any mechanical failures and or yard concerns to Logistics Director
• Develop/utilize checkpoint system to routinely inspect each order before loading
• Use yard organization scheme to efficiently meet delivery needs
• Minimize breakage of manufactured components
• Develop and implement a plan to expedite delivery of rush orders
• Assist stackers with sheathing, banding, stacking, and unloading racks
