Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our team. As a Medical Assistant, you will be responsible for providing support to healthcare professionals in various clinical settings. Your duties will include taking patient histories, preparing exam rooms, assisting with medical procedures, and ensuring the smooth flow of patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and prepare patients for medical examinations
• Take patient medical histories and vital signs
• Assist healthcare professionals during examinations and procedures
• Perform basic laboratory tests and procedures
• Administer medications as directed by healthcare providers
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of exam rooms and equipment
• Ensure timely and accurate documentation of patient information
• Provide patient education and support as needed
• Adhere to all HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality
• Collaborate with other healthcare team members to provide high-quality patient care

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program
• Certification as a Medical Assistant preferred
• Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
• Proficiency in basic medical terminology and computer skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards patients
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges
