JOB TITLE: Physical Therapist Assistant

SUMMARY: 

A Physical Therapist Assistant’s day-to-day activities are to deliver, high quality physical therapy care. To ensure patients stay on track and complete their Plan of Care.

Works through any challenges that may arise and consults with the physical therapist overseeing the patient. Ensures documentation is complete in a timely manner and works closely with the front office and billing staff to ensure the needs of each patient are met both clinically and administratively following each insurance expectation and protocols. 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Administer and deliver high quality physical therapy services as directed by the physical therapist overseeing the patient.
  • Creates daily notes in a timely manner for each visit seen, in accordance with each insurances protocols
  • Seeks the guidance of the Clinical Manager with any challenges with a patient that may arise while in the course of treatment. 
  • Collaborates with Clinical Manager, Front Desk Staff and Billing Department regarding patient questions, scheduling, billing questions.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Associate Degree as a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant
