JD Home Rentals is actively seeking to hire multiple roofers to perform maintenance repairs on residential and commercial properties.

Responsibilities:

• Install, repair, and maintain roofs on residential and commercial buildings
• Inspect roofs for damage and determine the best course of action for repairs or replacements
• Measure and cut roofing materials to fit specific dimensions.
• Install or repair flashing, gutters, and downspouts
• Remove old roofing materials and properly dispose of them
• Ensure that all work is completed according to safety guidelines and building codes
• Collaborate with other team members to complete projects efficiently

Requirements

• Proficient in using power tools such as drills, saws, and nail guns
• Experience in trim carpentry to ensure precise fitting of roofing materials
• Experience in remodeling and restoration work to repair or replace damaged roofs
• Proven experience as a roofer or similar role
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately
• Physical stamina and ability to work at heights
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think critically
• Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team
• Must have own truck and tools (Mileage and tool reimbursement is provided)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
