We are seeking a enthusiastic Bartender with a positive attitude to join our team. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and creating memorable experiences for our guests. Our Bartenders are responsible for making drinks as well as a small food menu.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Take drink orders and serve orders promptly and accurately
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks as well as a small menu
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area
- Monitor alcohol consumption and ensure responsible service
- Upsell additional menu items and promotions to increase revenue
- Handle cash transactions and operate the POS system or cash register
- Provide recommendations on drink pairings and menu items
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines
Skills:
- Strong mathematical skills for accurately calculating bills and making change
- Proficiency in operating a POS system or cash register
- Knowledge of various drink recipes, mixology techniques, and garnishments
- Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members effectively
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in bartending within a restaurant, banquet, or catering setting is preferred
- Familiarity with food handling, food service, and food safety regulations
