Four Rivers Coalition Coordinator
Job Description
This position is full time, funded entirely by the Drug Free Communities Support Program. The employer is the HFM Prevention Council as fiscal agent for the Four Rivers Alliance coalition.
Responsibilities include:
Completion of all reporting requirements of the DFCSP and SAMHSA.
Oversight of all coalition endeavors in reducing and preventing underage drinkingand substance use.
Coordination of the work of the coalition, including training, coalition communication, data collection, and information dissemination.
Providing supervision and guidance to the Youth Coalition Coordinator.
Other job tasks as assigned by the HFM Prevention Council Executive Director
Some travel is required of this position for which mileage is paid at the federal mileage reimbursement rate.
Qualifications: Minimum of a Bachelor's degree. Experience insubstance use prevention, education, and/or community coalition work a plus.
Skills and knowledge required: Must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, basic knowledge of data collection and analysis, basic knowledge of social media, and basic knowledge of youth underage drinking and substance use issues.
Personal qualities: Position requires someone who can work and communicate with a wide variety of people
Work hours: Some weekend and evenings hours are required. Primary hours of operation are Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm.
The Four Rivers Alliance coalition coordinator reports directly to the executive director of theHFM Prevention Council.
