Job Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Security Officer to join our team. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and employees. Your primary duties will include monitoring surveillance equipment, patrolling the premises, and enforcing security protocols. Duties: - Patrol assigned areas on foot or in a vehicle to ensure the safety and security of the premises - Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems to detect and respond to potential security threats - Conduct regular inspections to identify any security breaches or hazards - Respond promptly to incidents, including disturbances, accidents, and emergencies - Write detailed reports documenting observations and activities during assigned shifts - Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies when necessary - Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors and employees with inquiries or concerns - Enforce access control procedures to prevent unauthorized entry - Perform loss prevention duties by monitoring for theft or suspicious activity Experience: - Previous experience in a security-related role is preferred but not required - Knowledge of security procedures and protocols is a plus - Familiarity with CCTV systems and other surveillance equipment is beneficial - Ability to handle conflicts or difficult situations calmly and professionally - CPR and First Aid certification is desirable - Strong observation skills and attention to detail - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Please note that all positions at our company are paid positions, including internships.
