Job Description: Air Exports Supervisor

Overview:

We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Air Export Supervisor to support leading our air export operations team. This role involves overseeing aspects of air export operations, from resolving customer and employee conflicts to managing staff and department activities. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with excellent negotiation skills, capable of driving business growth and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

· Oversee air export operations to ensure smooth and efficient processing.

· Resolve conflicts or complaints from customers and employees promptly and effectively.

· Achieve department objectives by managing staff, including planning, and evaluating department activities.

· Address customer complaints and identify solutions to enhance performance and efficiency.

· Create and manage team schedules to ensure optimal department coverage.

· Coordinate day-to-day operations, ensuring that all tasks are performed accurately and timely.

· Negotiate and manage rates with airlines and customers to maintain competitive pricing and profitability.

· Supervise the work of export agents, providing guidance and support as needed.

· Set and achieve business and profit objectives, contributing to the company's overall success.

· Explore opportunities to reduce costs without compromising quality or service.

· Analyze reports on revenue, gross profit, and net profit to identify areas for optimization.

· Provide comprehensive training to new and existing employees, ensuring a high level of competency and professionalism.

· Prepare and present reports to upper management, including feedback and strategic adjustments.

· Perform other duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to contribute to the team's success.

· Your negotiation skills are top-notch, particularly when it comes to managing and negotiating rates with airlines and customers.

· Organizing and overseeing daily operations is where you excel, ensuring everything runs smoothly and efficiently.

· You possess a keen ability to analyze financial reports, using this insight to drive profitability and business growth.

· Developing and training team members is a passion of yours, recognizing the value of continuous learning and professional growth.

· Your commitment extends beyond the typical workweek, willing to work Saturdays on a rotational basis and available for after-hours communication to ensure operational success.

· Communication is one of your strengths, capable of delivering concise and informative reports to upper management.
