Overview:
Hochatown Distilling Company is seeking a skilled and motivated Operator to join our team. As an Operator, you will play a crucial role in the production and packaging of our distilled spirit products. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and contribute to the success of our distillery.
Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain machinery and equipment used in the distilling and packaging process
- Monitor production processes to ensure efficiency and quality standards are met
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Follow standard operating procedures for distilling, packaging, and sanitation
- Adhere to food safety guidelines, including HACCP protocols, to maintain product integrity
- Assist with inventory management, including receiving, storing, and organizing materials
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and implement process improvements
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to uphold sanitation standards
Skills:
- Mechanical knowledge: Ability to operate and troubleshoot machinery and equipment
- Forklift operation: Proficiency in safely operating a forklift for material handling
- Food safety: Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
- Warehouse management: Experience with inventory control and organization
- Sanitation: Understanding of proper cleaning and sanitation procedures in a food production environment
- Previous experience in distilling or beverage production is not required.
- Packaging skills: Ability to package finished products efficiently and accurately
- Fabrication skills: Basic knowledge of fabrication techniques for equipment maintenance
