We are excited to announce that we currently have an opening for an On-Call Nurse. The team at the Good Shepherd Homecare & Hospice provides quality hospice care and loving support to the clients and families we are honored to care for.

The On-Call position helps Good Shepherd provide 24/7 care to our hospice clients and families. A team of on-call nurses work together to create a rotation that provides coverage on weeknights, from 5p-8a, and on the weekends. This position would be a part of that team providing answers and education over the phone, as well as making in-home visits, if required.

A successful candidate demonstrates great compassion, possesses excellent communication skills and is very team oriented.

Good Shepherd Homecare & Hospice seeks to pay salaries which are competitive with other like agencies. Previous experience is considered in determining a starting wage.

Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing school in the state of Kansas.

Job Types: Part-time, PRN

Pay: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour
