We’re looking for a manufacturing worker who will bring enthusiasm, personal drive, and great attention to detail to our team. As a manufacturing worker, you’ll be responsible for material handling, carefully following recipes, mixing ingredients, and operating equipment in our warehouse. You’ll keep a watchful eye on quality to ensure that we’re making the best products for our customers. You’ll also be responsible for safety and cleanliness of the manufacturing area. Communication is a key part of the position in reporting machine output, damages, or ineffective equipment.

Manufacturing Worker Responsibilities:

  • Start up and stop equipment, report any damaged or ineffective equipment 
  • Assist with production line in production area as needed 
  • Clean production area including sweeping, mopping and removing debris 
  • Load and unload items from machines, carts, and dollies 
  • Feed or place items onto equipment for processing 
  • Measure and pour ingredients, ensuring conformance to specifications 
  • Turn and monitor valves to regulate flow of liquids or steam 
  • Mix ingredients 
  • Remove product and machine attachments, scrape waste material from machine
  • Read and interpret gauges 
  • Load and unload processing equipment 
  • Pour materials into machine hopper 
  • Follow all safety protocols in the manufacturing area including wearing additional personal protective equipment as needed

  • Reading and following step-by-step procedures

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Functional knowledge of standard manufacturing practices including, but not limited to: general safety, lock-out tag-out, and forklift safety
  • Ability to read and understand written procedures and technical manuals
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Must be able to consistently lift and/or move 50 pounds and occasionally 75 pounds

Preferred Skills

  • Goal oriented, strong interpersonal skills and ability to receive and follow instructions
  • Forklift Operator Certification preferred

Hookah experience is always a plus! 

Physical Demands: 

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear; to reach with hands and arms, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls. Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard and a variety of warehouse equipment, including but not limited to hand trucks, forklifts and pallet jacks. The employee is required to walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must be able to stand and/or sit for extended periods of time, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling heavy objects. Reaching overhead, above the shoulders and horizontally, bending at the waist, climbing ladders to reach supplies and equipment are required daily activities. The noise level in the work environment is consistent with a warehouse and production environment, regular exposure to fumes, dust and odors. The employee must be able to consistently lift and/or move 50 pounds, occasionally lift and/or move 75 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, the ability to adjust focus and read a variety of materials. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position. Position Type / Expected Hours of Work: 

This is a full-time position. Days and hours are Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM TO 4:30 PM.
