FreedomVillage is proud to be a debt free Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC)and has been serving seniors in South Orange County, California since 1987. Ourbeautiful campus includes Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Skilled Nursing.
At this time,we are hiring Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide basic nursing careby assisting residents with personal, nutritional and restorative care underthe supervision of a licensed nurse.
Active CNAcertificate required in California and CPR certified.
Responsibilities
Provides a suitable environment for residents by giving attention tocleanliness, ventilation, lighting and furniture arrangement.
Assistsresidents to ensure their cleanliness, grooming, nourishment, rest, activity,and elimination in a manner conducive to the residents' comfort, safety, anddignity.
Practicesconfidentiality about residents and nursing care activities.
Maintains"Elder Abuse and Reporting" guidelines.
Follows"Fall Prevention" guidelines.
Promotes restorativenursing care as directed and instruction for individual residents.
Keeps alertto resident conditions and reports changes in the resident's attitude,appearance, behavior, and physical ability to the Charge Nurse.
Performsselected nursing procedures, which do not require professional evaluation asassigned and instructed by the Charge Nurse.
Practicesconservation of equipment and supplies and keeps them clean and ready for use.Reports any equipment and supply needs to the Charge Nurse.
Maintainsresident safety by providing a safe milieu through constant observation,re-prioritizing assigned tasks as needed with safety first as top priority andpromptly answers call lights.
Transportsresidents as needed throughout our community.
Assists residentsin recreational and social activities.
Recognizesand respects the individual emotional, social and cultural needs of theresidents, including their religious beliefs.
Attendsorientation and in-service training meetings.
Schedule:Full and Part time shifts are available, 11:00pm to 7:00am
Salary range: $21.00 - $23.00 DOE $1.00 differential for overnight shift (11pm to 7:00am)
