Field Technician

Evergreen Home Performance, a leading company in Maine’s residential energy efficiency sector, is seeking a motivated individual to join our installation team in our Rockland office. The primary role of the installation technician is to help customers improve the comfort of their homes and lower their utility bills. Our core services include air sealing and insulating attics and basements. 

We seek someone who is adaptable and willing to see a task through to the end. The highly qualified candidate will be a good team player and communicator, knowledgeable about home construction and building science, and great with customers. If you don’t have direct trades experience, but seek to enter the world of energy efficiency, or if you’re someone who is dependable and looking for a steady job that pays well and has benefits, we will consider training you! 

The installation technician is a full-time position working typically 40 hours weekly. The work schedule is Monday-Friday with traditional construction business hours.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to climb ladders
• Ability to wear respirator
• Ability to regularly lift and carry 35 lb., occasionally 50 lb.
• Ability to safely operate power tools

Other Requirements:

• Valid Class C driver’s license

Compensation:

Full-time position. Wage range $23 –$28/hr. $500 Hiring Bonus, Health Insurance, Company-matched IRA, paid time off.
