Part-Time Bilingual Paraprofessional (experience with children on the Autism Spectrum).

Company Summary:

At Flex It Academy we provide flexible, personalized learning programs that address one child at a time. Learning is based on each student’s unique interests and learning abilities, which will foster critical thinking and a love for learning, and maximize their fullest potential.

Flex-It Academy offers online and small group programs (3-4 students) that include Flexible, self-paced learning, and highly qualified teacher-led classes. We specialize in teaching social skills and regulation of behaviors to students that range from gifted, and medically fragile, to non-verbal. Our programs offer students flexible, competency-based learning options that focus on STEM and project-based learning. We work with students and parents to develop an appropriate education plan based on their child’s educational needs and goals.

You will be responsible for the successful completion of the following tasks:

Implement and teach appropriate behaviors and regulation of behaviors.
Assist with data collection and clinical reporting of the child's learning progress.
Participate in ongoing training to further develop skills and working knowledge.
Communicate confidentially and professionally with families, teams, and supervisors.
Must have the ability to work independently.
Manage a flexible schedule.
Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Excellent communication skills and a team player.
Demonstrate a high-energy approach.
A high degree of flexibility and understanding of behavior strategies.
Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card.
