Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Field Lab-Pack Supervisor with expertise in sampling, analysis, materials shipments, materials handling, and/or materials management to oversee Lab-Pack projects. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills and mechanical knowledge to ensure efficient workflow and team management. Those with experience planning, managing, or performing lab-pack or chemical waste management services are encouraged to apply!

Responsibilities:

• Direct and support the execution of Lab-Pack projects such as sampling, characterization, and preparation of waste for shipments including segregating, packing, and assisting with the documentation and transportation from the customer site in accordance with all government/customer/Eldredge policies and procedures.
• Manage the completion of Lab-Packing jobs from start to finish.
• Manage Field Service Technicians to assist in the completion of Lab-Packs.
• Work with Eldredge's Operations Team to schedule customer pickups.
• Work with Eldredge's Team to Prepare Waste Profiles and assist with Sourcing the best recycling or disposal option for our customer's waste.
• Prepare simple quotes for various projects involving Lab-Packing, and other various Environmental Services
• Assist with customer/data entry into shipping database
• Communicate client’s needs with other departments to assure timely, quality service.
• Project Management - this may include: Site Visits, Inventories, Sampling, Job Estimates/Bid Walks.
• Assist in communication between various departments to complete jobs in a timely manner. Departments include but not limited to: Plant, Transportation, Operations, Sales, & Safety.
• Commitment to general teamwork in support of all aspects of daily activities to ensure the profitability and sustained growth of the corporation.
• Ensure the safety of the work completed by adhering to the environmental, health & safety policies and procedures and identify any potentially unsafe conditions or procedures.
• Ensure proper housekeeping to maintain safe, efficient and clean work areas; including all customer sites
• Visit job sites in order to develop safe, accurate job scopes and quotes
• Provide communications with the customer regarding lab pack work progress and customer satisfaction
• Operate equipment, such as company vehicles, forklifts, pickup trucks, etc.
• Maintain inventory of packaging supplies
• Special Projects and Other Duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Valid Driver’s License for safe vehicle and equipment operations as needed
• Preemployment physical with drug screening – project work may require periodic or random screenings.
• College degree and/or equivalent work/technical experience
• Excellent communication and analytical skills
• Ability to multi-talk and handle dynamic workflow, varying workloads
• Must showcase proficient computer and technology skills including capabilities in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, & associated products
• Detail Oriented with good listening skills and retention/memory
• Initiative to follow-up on pending issues
• Effective oral, written, and telephone skills
• Willingness to gain knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations
• Work within scope of job requirements

Working Hours/Environment:

• Work is split between office and project sites
• Travel is anticipated, most work performed within a 2 hour drive from office (approximately 50-60% travel). Overnights or extended stays may be periodically required (less than 10% of travel time).
• Requires sitting/standing for prolonged periods; periodic work on computer screens
• Ability to work in variable weather conditions.
• Requires walking on uneven ground while visiting job sites.
• May occasionally require lifting up to 70 lbs., pulling and/or pushing and carrying. May require extended physical activity such as climbing, walking, standing, sitting, lifting, pulling/pushing, carrying, grasping, reaching, crawling, stooping, and crouching.
• Color perception (Red, Green, Amber).
• Physically able to participate in training sessions, presentations, and meetings.
• Overtime may be required to meet project deadlines.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 55 per week
