Summary

· A DAS Technician assists in performing installs on DAS Installation Projects.

· The duties will include, but not limited to:

· Experience or the ability to interpret blueprints, design drawings and other project documents, including but not limited to, specifications, reporting and quality requirements.

· Installing DAS equipment, including indoor and outdoor antennas, coaxial cable and couplers.

· Terminating coaxial cable

· Must be able to complete line sweeps, PIM testing. Anritsu knowledge is a PLUS.

· Keeping customer and company informed of progress of installation. Communicating and coordinating with customer and company related to specific safety and company installation requirements.

· Accurately reports job status daily.

· Training and assisting less experienced DAS technicians.

Minimum Requirements

The Lead DAS Installer is responsible for executing DAS Installation projects from start to finish. Qualified candidates:

· MUST HAVE a minimum of 2 years of in-building DAS installation experience. Three years of cable installation experience in IT, Cable, Electrical, RF and/or Telecommunications fields.

· Must have high level of understanding and experience performing RF Sweep and PIM Measurements.

· Knowledge of the terminology used in the in-building DAS industry.

· Working knowledge of RF test equipment (i.e. spectrum analyzer, sweep and PIM test equipment) Certifications a PLUS but not required.

· Must have the ability to use basic hand and power tools needed for installation projects.

Qualified Candidates Will Have To

· Travel to project locations nationwide.

· Work nights and weekend as required

· Must have a valid driver’s license

· Pass a criminal background check

· Lift upwards of 75 lbs. unassisted.

· Be able to work in various types of spaces as needed including attic-type, drop ceiling, and other spaces safely, without falling.

· Keeping informed on and wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

· Experienced with pulling and handling cable safely.

· Walk throughout the job site while carrying ladders, tools and installation materials.

· Work indoor/outdoor with variable conditions.

· Demonstrate ability to work in a professional manner at all job sites.

· Detail oriented and ability to take pictures and tag them as needed.

· Deliver customer service, use great communication skills, and demonstrate ability to work well on a team.

· Think analytically and to solve complex problems.

· Drive performance and execute against plan.

· Demonstrate ability to complete installations independently as projects require, while working with a sense of urgency to meet or exceed deadlines.

· Meet project deadlines is a MUST.
