Evoke is seeking a Application Technical Support Specialist/Help Desk to join our team!


Responsibilities:

  • Perform help desk functions with excellent customer service skills (both over the phone and email)
  • Demonstrate effective and efficient troubleshooting and problem solving skills
  • Effectively convey information and ideas in all directions
  • Document system problems and resolutions using Service Now
  • Assist with testing of production implementations, working closely with your team members and other internal support groups to ensure the proper transition of system changes occur when deployed to a production environment
  • Create, monitor, and handle data reports generated from Business Objects software
  • Select among several established procedures and reference material to verify system functionality and seek assistance when guidelines are inadequate, significant deviations are proposed, or when unanticipated problems arise
  • Maintain confidentiality with regard to the information being processed, stored, or accessed
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize appropriately to meet service level agreements and deadlines
  • Provide guidance and remedial training on the operation of system functions to end users and team members


Professional Experience and Skills:

  • Experience troubleshooting and resolving technical issues
  • High attention to detail and customer support skills
  • Experience utilizing a ticketing system for tracking and logging requests
  • Experience with MS Suite; Word, Outlook, and more.
  • Ability to learn and adapt quickly
  • Ability to follow policy and procedures
  • Strong interpersonal / customer service handling skills
  • Favorable experience working in team environment
  • Excellent organization and planning
  • Strong writing and communication skills


Education and Years
of Experience:

  • 0-2 years of technical support or help desk related experience
  • Associates or Bachelors degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
  • CompTIA certifications are a plus


Security Clearance

  • Applicants selected must be eligible to work in the United States, be subject to a background check, and meet eligibility requirements to receive NACI Tier 2 public trust clearance


Work Location

  • Gettysburg, PA (100% on-site)
