Hours: Monday through Thursday from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM Mandatory Teacher Training: June 10, 2024 to June 14, 2024 (Subject to Change)
Pay Rate: $33 per hour
Reports To: Youth Development Director
General Description of Position:
The desired candidate will be able to successfully interact with and engage youth in high-quality workshops and activities through best-practice facilitation. These will focus on ELA and Mathematics, and are for those who are teachers, retired or planning on getting their teacher’s license. The candidate will successfully engage with youth in grades K-5 to support youth in achieving academic success, developing life skills, and providing new experiences and opportunities. All staff and volunteers must uphold high ethical standards and demonstrate leadership qualities that represent Developing K.I.D.S. in a positive and respectful manner.
