We need an experienced commercial roofing estimator to join our team, who will be responsible for the accurate and timely preparation of estimates for bids and should have extensive knowledge of commercial roofing, costs and engineering and industry principles.

Commercial Roofing Estimator / Project Manager job responsibilities include:

• Understand and evaluate all bid documents and proposal requirements
• Attend pre-bid/construction meetings when necessary and be on-site representative for projects.
• Compile an organized, accurate, concise takeoff and estimate.
• Manage and coordinate job details between the field and office
• Solicit material quotes from manufacturers and suppliers.
• Draft proposals and/or contracts.
• Participate in the transition of the job from estimating to project management.

Commercial Roofing Estimator qualifications include:

• 2 years minimum experience in commercial roofing estimating
• Familiar with major commercial roof systems such as single ply, build up, metal and torched blown roofs.
• Knowledge of industry codes and standards.
• Ability to read/interpret architectural plans and specifications.
• Proficiency with technology is a must.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Attention to detail and the ability to recognize discrepancies.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment.
• Must have a positive and self-driven attitude.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $60,000.00 per year
