Department: The Center on Community Philanthropy

Summary of Job Duties:

The Center is seeking a full-time Fellow to provide coordination for the Center through the execution of responsibilities critical to the success of the Center’s mission. In addition, the Fellow will provide support and coordination for the Center through the execution of duties including researching issues related to community philanthropy, equity, social justice and racial healing, assisting senior staff with program planning, and project report development – as well as travel with senior staff to communities on an as needed basis.

This position reports directly to the Center on Community Philanthropy director and is a 12 month grant supported fellowship.
Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution of higher education
• Candidates should have in-depth experiences working with diverse communities on issues related to racial healing, community philanthropy, equity and social justice
• Strong communication skills, both written and oral, are critical to success in this role
• The candidate should possess exceptional time and process management skills, with keen attention to detail and the ability to follow up effectively
• Strong computer and information management skills, including the ability to access and retrieve internet-based information and academic research, are also essential for this position

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s degree from an accredited institution of higher education
