Work today, get paid today!Monthly Celebrations and recognitions$5,000 Tuition Reimbursement Per YearQuarterly Attendance Bonus ProgramResponsibilities:The Activities Director is responsible for planning, directing and implementing appropriate resident activity programs, using the philosophy and policies of the facility and staying consistent with State and Federal regulatory requirements.Developing and implementing activity programs which are appropriate to the residents based on varied backgrounds, emotional needs and interestsPerforming initial and on-going assessment of each residents backgrounds, activity interests, abilities physical limitations and needs for meaningful activity programsAssisting in the development of a written plan of care for each resident as it pertains to activity needsDocumenting activity plans and progress notes as required by the facility and maintaining all activity records in compliance with facility, state and local regulatory agenciesAssuring the residents requiring one-on-one intervention receive timely and appropriate activity programsInvolving residents, their families and the community in the facilitys activities to ensure quality programsDeveloping special activities, displaying themes and decorations for holidays, birthdays and seasonsDeveloping and maintaining a facility newsletterQualifications:Activities Director QualificationsMust possess a High School Diploma or GEDKnowledge on the use of personal computers, e-mail accounts, software programs such as Word and ExcelHave a thorough understanding of the principles of best Activities practicesPatience, a cheerful disposition, enthusiasm and willingness to handle residents based on whatever maturity and physical level in which they are currently functioningThe ability to be discrete and protect the integrity of confidential information and stay and HIPAAGraduate of a state approved Activity Director course preferred, but not requiredAt least two years previous experience working in long-term care preferred but not required#J-18808-Ljbffr
