Job Description:

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Class C Driver to join our team. As a Driver, you will be responsible for transporting materials, products, and equipment between our facilities, suppliers, and customers in a timely and safe manner. Your role will play a crucial part in ensuring our operations run smoothly and our products reach their destinations on schedule. 

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate and maintain company vehicles, including trucks and vans.
  • Transport materials, products, and equipment to and from specified locations.
  • Follow all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies to ensure safe and efficient transportation.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to identify any maintenance issues and ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Ensure proper handling and securing of cargo.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery times.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers, supervisors, and customers to coordinate delivery schedules and address any issues or concerns.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding vehicle maintenance, safety, and reporting.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Class C driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience as a delivery driver, preferably in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and a focus on safety.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 75lbs as needed.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
