Position Overview: We are actively seeking a part-time Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist to join our group in-person facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately diagnosing medical conditions and developing effective treatment plans, including prescribing medication when necessary.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough medical assessments and examinations to diagnose patients' conditions.
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on diagnosis, patient history, and medical findings.
  • Prescribe medication and monitor patients' responses to ensure efficacy and safety.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, including patient histories, examination results, and treatment plans.
  • Stay informed about advancements in medical research, treatments, and pharmaceuticals to provide the highest quality of care.
  • Work closely with clinical staff in coordinating and obtaining needed services for patients and families.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
  • Educate and counsel patients to promote positive health behaviors and disease prevention.

Requirements:

  • Must have a current license to practice medicine in the State of California.
  • Board Certified/Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Practice.
  • Must have a current DEA License.
  • Proficient in English and medical Spanish preferred.
  • Must possess a current CPR Certification.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills with patients and families.
  • Experience in working with Electronic Medical Records is preferred.
