Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the practice, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow
- Manage and supervise staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve practice efficiency and patient care
- Coordinate with physicians and other healthcare providers to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Monitor and manage practice finances, including budgeting, billing, and collections
- Utilize electronic medical record systems such as eClinicalWorks or Epic for documentation and data management
- Implement utilization management strategies to optimize resource allocation and improve patient outcomes
- Collaborate with managed care organizations to ensure compliance with contractual obligations
- Ensure compliance with all applicable healthcare regulations and standards
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in practice management

Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in practice management, preferably in a hospital or healthcare setting
- Knowledge of eClinicalWorks or Epic electronic medical record systems is highly desirable
- Familiarity with utilization management principles and practices
- Strong understanding of managed care contracts and reimbursement models
- Experience in critical care or veterinary practice management is a plus
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
