We are seeking a skilled and organized Dental Receptionist to join our team. As a Dental Receptionist, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and administrative support in a dental office setting.
This is a full-time position Mon-Thu
4 x 10hr days with 1 hour lunch and breaks provided
Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer phone calls and schedule appointments using dental scheduling software
- Verify insurance coverage and assist patients with insurance-related inquiries
- Collect patient information
- Manage patient check-in and check-out process
- Process in-office payments
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area
- Follow HIPAA guidelines to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality
Skills:
- Previous experience as a Dental Receptionist (required)
- Familiarity with dental terminology, dental procedures, and dental office operations
- Proficiency in using dental scheduling software (Dentrix, Eaglesoft)
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations professionally
- Knowledge of phone systems and ability to handle multiple phone lines efficiently
