Job Description

Our team members are the most important asset! Their responsibility are to maintain gardens and lawns. They operate weedeater, edger, (standing, push, zero turn) mower, blower, and hedge trimmers. A BLI Crew Member takes ownership, seeks to provide excellent customer service, and promotes BLI core values of professionalism, quality, accountability, efficiency, and safety. This position will be for our Spanish Fort location. Orientation, Onboarding, and training will be held at our Mobile office.

Day to day tasks

• Drive work vehicles to and from sites
• Follow written and verbal instructions from the Crew Leader and Managers.
• Operate with a team and individually on tasks
• Maintaining gardens and lawns, including mowing, trimming, pruning, spraying, raking, and weeding
• Load and unload equipment and tools into work vehicles
• Pull and spray weeds on sites
• Adhere to all safety precautions

You must...

• Operate equipment, including weedeater, edger, trimmers leaf blowers
• Have a valid Drivers License (required) Pass DOT Physical
• Lift 50 pounds and handle the physical demands of the job, including standing, bending, lifting, pulling, and climbing
• Enjoy working outside
• Works well independently and with a team
• Pass a Pre-Employment Drug Test

Education and Experience:

• At least one year of landscaping experience is preferred, but not required
• Must be over 18 years old
• Communicating effectively, speaking multiple languages is preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.56 - $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
