Aureus Energy Services (US) Inc. is Hiring an Operations Engineering Manager Near Midland, TX

As the successful candidate, you will use your technical abilities to plan, analyze and design projects for all our water management offerings. Also to Support the business development team with technical expertise.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Developing chemical treatment programs for produced and fresh water for use in hydraulic fracturing
  • Oversee and help with initial laboratory testing on potential customer’s water, developing, and effectively communicating the solution to the BD team and client.
  • Collecting, and storing data from potential and ongoing projects
  • Routine quality assurance checks on field technicians lab work.
  • Training technicians on proper procedures for lab tests
  • Identify opportunities for new treatment techniques and new test methods that give Aureus a competitive advantage.
  • Technical support for BD and Operations teams

Your Experience and Credentials

  • Experience with produced water treatment
  • High Proficiency with MS office
  • Must be willing to travel regularly throughout the Permian Basin
  • Must hold valid drivers license
  • Local to Midland TX,
  • Experience with AutoCAD , ArcGIS, solidworks, is an asset
  • Ability to work in a diverse and team-oriented environment
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks
  • Previous oil and gas field industry experience with prior project management experience is strongly preferred.
  • LEADERSHIP SKILLS: Conflict Resolution, Employee Engagement, Collaboration, Effective Communication, Decision Making and the ability to Coach, Mentor, Direct and Build Relationships with employees and management.

  • TEAMWORK SKILLS: Conflict Resolution, Collaboration, Effective Communication, Decision Making and the ability Build Relationships with employees and management.
  • TIME MANAGEMENT: Using efficient organizational skills you must be able to effectively multitask several projects and several stakeholders.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Environmental Engineering, Chemistry, hydrology or related field required.
  • 5 years’ experience or equivalent experience in oil and gas water treatment
  • P.Eng, P.Chem, MSc, PHD an asset
