This is a great entry level wine department position and resume builder for those new to wine and looking to break into the wine business.
Main responsibility : running wines from middle cellar (one flight down) to restaurant floor as per Floor Manager / as ordered by guests during service.
Some restocking, wine label removal, preparing wine take-away bags as needed, decanting and bottle opening if needed. Important liaison between the floor and beverage department.
Hours : 6-8hr shifts, no more than 40 hrs / week : Nights and Weekends available.
Reports to : Floor Manager (during shift) and Beverage Director
