We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Procurement Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of IT procurement, including sourcing, negotiating contracts, and maintaining vendor relationships, and third-party risk. This role requires a deep understanding of IT products and services, as well as strong negotiation and communication skills.

Skills Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field.
• Proven experience in IT procurement, with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in publicly traded and/or highly regulated company.
• Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with vendors.
• Firm understanding of SOX IT General Controls, how they impact and are impacted by the procurement process.
• Deep understanding of IT products and services, including hardware, software, and cloud solutions.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions.
• Proficiency in procurement software and tools, such as ERP systems and e-procurement platforms.
• Relevant certifications in procurement or supply chain management (e.g., CPSM, CPM) are a plus.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement procurement strategies for IT goods and services, including hardware, software, cloud services, and IT consulting.
• Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their capabilities, pricing, and product offerings.
• Collaborate closely with Finance, Legal, IT and Business Compliance, Information Security and Privacy groups to help ensure compliance with SOX, PCI, and various privacy regulations.
• Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with vendors to ensure favorable terms and conditions that meet the organization's needs and budget requirements.
• Manage vendor relationships, including assisting with vendor selection, performance evaluation, and issue resolution.
• Monitor and track procurement activities to ensure timely delivery of IT products and services in accordance with project timelines and budget constraints.
• Evaluate and recommend improvements to procurement policies, procedures, and tools to enhance effectiveness and efficiency.
• Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in IT procurement to continuously improve procurement processes and drive cost savings.
• Assist in the development of procurement metrics and KPIs to measure performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Provide guidance and support to cross-functional teams on procurement-related matters and ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
