ANTOINE'S RESTAURANT is Hiring an Apprentice Waiter Near Orleans, LA

Antoine’s Restaurant is a fine dining French Creole Restaurant located in the historic French Quarter of New Orleans.

The Antoine's family is hiring!

Our restaurant is looking for a hospitality professional with a passion for the art of presentation to join our team as a Fine Dining Server.

Our ideal candidate is:

· A well-spoken individual who is knowledgeable about both our style and our cuisine.

· You should pride yourself on flawless execution, as you may assist with plating in addition to providing exceptional table service to our customers and maintaining table appearance.

· While we do not require you to have experience with our POS system, all applicants must have prior experience in food service, preferably in a fine dining environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Provide table service.

· Answer menu questions.

· Make drink/wine recommendations.

· Maintain table appearance.

· Course food items appropriately.

· Perform side work and end-of-shift closeout tasks.

· Work efficiently and complete required tasks within assigned time frame.

· Must be L.R.V. Certified.

· Other duties as assigned.

Fine Dining Server Requirements and Qualifications:

· High school graduate or equivalent.

· Prior serving experience required.

· Professional appearance.

· Knowledge about our cuisine (Will be trained on the restaurant's history and cuisine

· knowledge).

· Knowledge about wine and beverage pairings.

· Presentation skills.

· Attention to detail.

· Must be able to maneuver in an office, through restaurant/bar and at outside functions. Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods of time, bend, stoop, reach, kneel, crouch, twist, lift, push, pull, and grip items when necessary. May occasionally lift up to 30 pounds; push, pull or move items weighing up to 50 pounds.

· Must be able to work varied hours/days, including evenings, weekends and holidays, in accordance with the restaurant operations and adhere to the attendance requirements of the company.

· Must adhere to the established appearance, hygiene, and dress code guidelines.

· Ability to adhere to and comply with all rules and regulations of the company.
