The Ainsley Search Group is urgently seeking a maintenance supervisor to oversee their maintenance team at a small industrial manufacturing plant in Dracut, Massachusetts. This maintenance supervisor must have experience working in industrial/manufacturing environments around production lines, critical systems, and be a strong, yet hands on leader.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Inspect and oversee facilities to resolve problems.
• Lead, train, and oversee a team maintenance technicians to perform maintenance for the entire plant.
• Perform a variety of maintenance activities as needed.
• Develop and maintain a planning and scheduling routine and preventive. maintenance of equipment, prioritizing and estimating work and technical assistance when developing job plans.
• Hire and oversee outside professionals such as electricians, plumbers etc.
• Inspect and maintain building systems such as heating, electrical, air conditioning, ventilation etc.
• Perform periodic inspections of recently maintained equipment to observe the quality of the maintenance performed and the operating condition of the equipment.
• Keep in check and regulate budget and track maintenance expenditures.
• Regularly inspect the material and tools inventory and place order when needed.
• Obtain MA State Special Engineer license for Steam Plant (company will train and pay for the license).
• Ensure compliance with quality, health and safety rules, guidelines, and regulations.

Core Skills & Qualifications:

• 7 years of Industrial Maintenance experience and 2 years of experience in a Maintenance Supervisory experience required.
• Must come from another manufacturing/industrial industry.
• Professional Certifications (e.g. CMRP or HVAC certified) will be considered an advantage.
• In-depth knowledge of different building systems (heating, electrical, compressed air, ventilation etc.)
• Basic computer skills, including but not limited to email, Microsoft Office suite, and JD Edwards or similar ERP system.
• Familiarity with relevant health and safety standards and regulations
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Outstanding communication, interpersonal and leadership skills
• Skilled at troubleshooting
• Experience operating Steam Plant a plus (company will train and help complete certification)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
