WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Advance is seeking a Project Engineer to work in our Managed IT division. You will be responsible for Client Onboarding, new hardware implementations, migration projects, providing technical support in escalated situations as well as other technical duties.
ON A TYPICAL DAY YOU WILL
  • Client Onboarding/Offboarding
  • New hardware implementation including firewalls, switches, wireless, backup appliances, etc.
  • Migration Projects - data migrations, server migrations
  • Create statements of work for projects inclusive of licensing/products required
  • Documentation of all technical procedures, configurations and troubleshooting steps for future reference
  • Provide technical support in escalated situations
WHO YOU ARE
  • 5 years of IT experience
  • 5 years of experience supporting Windows desktops
  • 5 years of experience supporting Windows Servers
  • 3-5 years of experience with Microsoft Azure infrastructure development and management
  • 3-5 years of experience with Microsoft 365 cloud services
  • Working knowledge of WAN, LAN, VLAN technologies
  • Virtualization Experience Required (VMware, Hyper-V, etc.)
  • Ability to work outside of normal business hours to complete project work
  • Must be at least 21 years of age or older
  • Must have a valid drivers license with the ability to pass a MVR report check
