Job Details - Route Driver

Major Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities:

* Complete Daily Driver’s Logs

* Adhere to Company policies and work requirements

* Operate lift-gates on all trailers

* Perform daily safety checks of the delivery vehicle; pre-trip and post-trip inspections

* Safely drive trucks to customers and meet scheduled customer delivery times

* Carefully unload products from the trailer with a two-wheeler, pallet jack or by hand and place in designated customer storage areas

* Verify the accuracy of delivery with customers and obtain proper signatures

* Handle collections and payments from customers, when applicable

* Maintains a neat personal appearance

* Promote good customer relations to enhance our client experience

Work Environment

• Typically located in a warehouse environment, with expected temperature fluctuations and moving machinery, such as forklifts.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds in a physical environment. Occasionally down stacking 120 lb. kegs.
• Ability to make repetitive movements, bending, and/or squatting.

Education and Experience

• HS Diploma or GED strongly preferred.

Preferred Qualifications & Job Specific Details

· CDL Class A

· Current DOT Medical Card

· Hazmat Endorsement (We will help pay for and acquire)

· Tanker Endorsement (We will help pay for and acquire)

· Customer Service Skills
