1199 SEIU Employment Center is seeking 2nd Cook professionals for our prestigious Hospitals in Manhattan.
Salary - 50 – $55k annually
· Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or Equivalent.
· Three (3) years of cooking experience in a health care institution or commercial establishment with a large volume food service.
· Must be knowledgeable in portion control and forecasting procedures. Must be able to understand and communicate effectively in English. Must be able to give and follow written and verbal instructions.
· Preferred Licenses: Serv Safe Certification
· Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.
· Covid-19 vaccination requirement- Our health care employers will require proof of Covid-19 vaccination as a condition of employment
