Your Role
You are someone who is looking to make a direct impact on the growth curve of an otherwise stable company. You know how to provide great customer service to your existing accounts, and you’re not afraid to cold call, pop in and relentlessly get after leads.
Reporting directly to our President, you are primarily responsible for developing and maintaining great relationships with existing and potential customers/suppliers in the maritime and aerospace industries and beyond. You will achieve your goals by (1) visiting facilities of current and potential suppliers around Western Washington, such as other recycling facilities, machine shops and utility companies, (2) developing and building customer/supplier relationships, including the development of customer specific marketing materials, and negotiating prices and contracts that build, grow, and retain the supplier base, (3) giving superior customer service in every situation, 100% of the time. and (4) ultimately bringing in thousands of pounds of non-ferrous metal for our production crew. You will work from our Seattle headquarters in SODO (parking included).
Your new job with us is full-time and anticipated to be generally Monday through Friday.
Your Compensation
Your compensation will depend on your experience. You will receive a base salary plus you’ll participate in our quarterly company profit sharing program. You will also receive our other company benefits, which include, full health and dental with employer contributions to your HSA, a voluntary cash benefits program, paid vacation, sick, holiday and personal day and 401(k) with healthy employer matching program.
