This position has responsibilities supporting BST North America, Inc.’s sales installation of inspection and register systems. The ideal candidate has experience in the manufacturing industry, a strong understanding of mechanical systems, a successful project management background, and proven customer service experience.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Manages assigned projects throughout the full cycle from sale through installation.
· Travel to client sites to measure the client’s machine for installation of new inspection or register systems.
· Travel to client sites to document technical specifications for newly purchased inspection or register systems.
· Work collaboratively and coordinate with sub-contractors when needed.
· Coordinate with sales, service, and German head office to ensure customer satisfaction.
· Prepare, consolidate, and distribute internal and customer project reports.
· Provide design quotes to the sales team for individual projects.
· Provide support to sales installation of inspection and register systems and support other Engineering projects unrelated to inspection and register systems.
· Provide exceptional customer service to clients.
· Coordination with the German head office regarding existing projects.
· Work independently to accomplish job duties.
· Assists with the design of web guides as needed.
· Other duties as assigned.
Required Experience and Skills Requirements:
· 5 years of applied Project Management experience.
· Experience in preparing and reading Gant charts.
· Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office products.
· Self-directed with a solid work ethic and drive to learn new skills.
· Able to relate to people at all levels of the organization positively.
· Must be hands-on and able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
Desired Experience and Skills Requirements:
· Project Management certification.
· Experience with SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
· Knowledge of industry inspection equipment.
· Experience in the printing, packaging, or labeling industry.
Education Requirements:
· Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, equivalent, or equivalent experience.
Physical Requirements:
· Infrequent lifting/pushing/pulling/moving weights up to 25 lbs.
· Infrequent crouching, bending, and twisting in a manufacturing industrial environment.
· Infrequent stooping, climbing, and crawling on and around equipment.
Travel Requirements:
· Routine travel 10-25%. Up to 75% travel could be possible depending on client demand.
· Infrequent international travel required.
