We are seeking a skilled Product Assembler to join our team. As a Product Assembler, you will be responsible for assembling various components and products using power tools, hand tools, and other equipment. The ideal candidate has experience in a manufacturing setting, assembling, picking parts, works well with others and is eager to learn. This position is based in a clean manufacturing environment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and assembly instructions
- Responsible for meeting order timelines and manage assigned assembly workload
- Ability to work under pressure
- Communicate order status updates with Manufacturing Floor Supervisor or Sales
- Use power tools and hand tools to assemble components and products
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient production processes
- Assist in the fabrication of parts as needed
- Prepare and package orders for shipping
Requirements:
- Previous experience in assembly or a related field preferred
- Good communication skills, verbal and written
- Mechanical knowledge and aptitude
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and assembly instructions
- Ability to work a part of a team environment
- Reliable and consistent attendance
Education:
Associate degree, HS Diploma or equivalent
