Crown Laboratories, Inc. is currently recruiting for a Production Artist Therapeutics, Johnson City, TN (On-Site).
Job Purpose Statement
Production Artist will work closely with the Senior Designer, assisting the Creative Marketing Team within the Therapeutic Skincare portfolio (PanOxyl, Blue Lizard Sunscreen, Sarna, Keri, etc.) to execute any print and digital collateral artwork to help meet business goals. Must have a keen interest in processing, assessing, and producing detail and complicated information with an eye for detail. Reports to the Creative Director.
Main Accountabilities:
- Assisting the creative team in producing any graphic collaterals for both print and digital including but not limited to: power-point presentation decks, product packaging labels, store merchandise, website, emails, social ads, diligently applying design changes to each project while handling any array of projects at any given moment
- Partner efficiently with cross-functional team on projects to meet their needs
- Process project briefs and assess specifics to create final artwork that adheres to those requirements and details
- Ensure all graphic is approved for licensing and all copy is proof-read and approved by editor or copywriter
- Reviewing and proofing graphic materials before final delivery
- Formatting graphics as well as collecting, processing, and proofing various graphic files
- Collaborating with the creative team to define design goals to ensure cohesive look and feel
- Collect, organize, and manage files and digital assets on the drive and server
- Research and pull graphic layout samples both print and digital
- Understand current design trends and how they relate to the business
- Manage multiple projects in different stages of production to ensure all timelines are met
- Ensure all assets and files are organized and accessible
Job Related Qualification/Skills:
- 3 years of proven work as a Production Designer or a Junior Graphic designer
- Bachelor's degree (BA) from a four-year college or university or equivalent in Graphic Design or related
- An online portfolio of completed design projects both digital and print that shows strong skills in typography and graphic layout
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite such as Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign along with an excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office such as PowerPoint and Excel
- Patient and open to learning other design software (online platforms & app) if necessary – such as Sketch up, Adobe XD, and klaviyo
- Organized, focused and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple projects for different brands simultaneously and efficiently, meeting deadlines
- Ability to take clear direction and execute dynamic and refined layouts
- Collaborative and open-minded style, taking feedbacks professionally with a positive and ‘can-do’ attitude
