Job Description:

As an Industrial Construction Project Manager at ProIndustrial, Inc you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of industrial construction projects from initiation to completion. You will manage the clients, project team, coordinate with subcontractors and vendors, and ensure that projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget. Your role will involve strategic planning, resource management, and effective communication with all stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Planning:
   • Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
   • Coordinate with clients to understand their requirements and ensure that project objectives are clearly defined.
2. Project Execution:
   • Lead project kickoff meetings and ensure that all team members understand their roles and responsibilities.
   • Procure and order materials/ supplies required for project success.
   • Monitor project progress, identify changes in scope and handle change orders as required.
   • Manage subcontractors and vendors, resolving issues, and ensuring compliance with project specifications and safety standards.
   • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure that work is being carried out according to quality standards and safety regulations.
3. Stakeholder Management:
   • Communicate regularly with clients to provide project updates, address concerns, and solicit feedback.
   • Collaborate with internal teams, including engineering, procurement, and construction, to ensure seamless coordination and integration of project activities.
4. Budget and Cost Control:
   • Monitor project expenses and track against the budget to ensure cost-effectiveness.
   • Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements without compromising quality or safety.
5. Health, Safety, and Environmental Compliance:
   • Implement and enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all project personnel.
   • Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards.
   • Investigate and report any incidents or accidents promptly and take appropriate corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or 10 years in project management experience.
• Proven experience as a project manager in industrial construction, with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members to achieve project goals.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
• Solid understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations and a commitment to promoting a culture of safety on-site.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Microsoft Office suite)
