Applied Value Technologies is Hiring a Workday HCM Application Support Analyst (US - Onsite) Near Seattle, WA

Location: United States (On-Site) – PST WORKING HOURS REQUIRED

Salary: $80,000 - $90,000 annually 10% bonus, DOE

  • This position is not eligible for relocations. All positions must reside within the country listed within this job description.

About the Role:

Applied Value Technologies is seeking a Application Support Analyst to assist in the delivery of our mission and business critical application services with internal customers. Reporting into Managed Services Department, our goal is to deliver excellent technical support with outstanding customer service, satisfaction, and timeliness. This position is part of our Production Support Organization and requires a diverse and flexible skill set for supporting a wide range of applications within our client's Commerce Engineering products portfolio. About You:

We are looking for someone who:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions within Workday HCM.
  • Configure and customize Workday HCM modules to meet business needs, including Core HR, Compensation, Benefits, Talent Management, Absence Management, and Payroll.
  • Develop and maintain Workday integrations using EIBs, Workday Studio, Cloud Connect, and other integration tools.
  • Design, build, test, and deploy Workday reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
  • Provide expertise and guidance on best practices for Workday configuration, development, and integration.
  • Participate in system upgrades, enhancements, and optimization efforts to ensure the continued effectiveness of the Workday HCM platform.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on Workday functionality, troubleshooting issues, and providing support to end users.
  • Stay current with Workday updates, new features, and industry trends to drive continuous improvement and innovation within the organization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including HR, IT, and business leaders, to ensure alignment between business processes and system capabilities.

Some stuff you need:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 5 years of experience implementing, configuring, and supporting Workday HCM.
  • Strong technical skills in Workday development tools, including Workday Studio, Report Writer, Calculated Fields, and XSLT.
  • Workday configuration - Proficiency in configuring various modules like HCM, Financial management, Payroll, Time tracking, Recruiting, and Learning including set org. structures, business processes, security roles, and data integrations.
  • Customization of WD applications - Proficiency in using tools such as workday studio, Calculated Fields, and Workday Business Process Framework. Ability to extend Workday functionality through integrations, custom objects, and business process configurations.
  • Functional Domain Knowledge: Deep understanding of functional domains such as human resources, finance, payroll, and talent management, including industry-specific regulations and compliance requirements.

Nice to have:

  • 6-7 year's experience in Workday HCM and techno-functional role.
  • 6-7 year's experience in Workday functionality, such as human resources, payroll, finance, or reporting.
  • L2/L3 proficient in supporting and troubleshooting Workday applications, diagnostic abilities to accurately diagnose identify root cause of issues.
  • Documentation and knowledge management - Effective documentation of troubleshooting processes including recording steps. Listing outcomes, and resolutions.
  • Attention to detail - Ensure thoroughness when analyzing system logs, configurations and data accuracy while troubleshooting and diagnosing issues.
  • Certification WD partner/pro.
