Job Description
Electrical Service Technician
Rio Marine is expanding in the locations listed below. Rio has a family type of environment where all members work together as a team to assist each other, grow the company, and support the challenges that lay ahead of us together. Responsibilities:
- Pull wire for service related as well as project related jobs
- Use power tools
- On-call as directed or needed
- Travel occasionally for the company to work at other locations
- Follow safety procedures
- Any other duties as needed or directed by management as it relates to Rio Marine Inc. Operations.
- Rio Marine is a 24 hour a day 7 day a week operation and overtime is required.
Qualifications:
- Education
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Physical
- Ability to lift and carry 50lbs for extended distances
- Ability to work in any and all adverse weather condition
- Ability to climb ladders, stairs and gangways up to 25 feet in height
- Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch and work above head for extended periods of time
- Ability to operate Rio Marine vehicles in a safe and courteous manner
- Personal Background
- Must be capable of acquiring valid TWIC
- Must have valid drivers license
- Must have clean driving record with no DWI convictions
- Must pass a criminal background check
- Must be able to pass a drug and alcohol test
- Travel occasionally for the company to work at other locations
Practical Experience
- Previous experience in electrical service industry
- Good communications skills
- Professional manner in dealing with other employees, management and customers
- Organizational Skills
- Basic mechanical skills
