GlobalGolf.com / Worldwide Golf is actively seeking Full-time and Part-time candidates with experience in Golf Club repairs in our Raleigh, NC location.

The primary responsibility of the Club Repair Services Specialist is to assist our Club Repair Technicians with provision of golf club modifications and repairs as needed to return clubs to a playable condition or to make modifications to meet the specifications as requested by our customers. These services will be applied largely to preowned clubs and include accurate installation of factory-quality grips and shafts, lie angle and loft adjustments, other golf club repair as well as certain golf club assembly operations. Previous experience working with golf equipment is necessary to perform these activities.

The essential job functions of the Golf Club Repair Specialist position will include but will not be limited to:

• Examine preowned clubs and determine the need for grip replacement prior to processing customer orders for shipment
• Regrip golf clubs for customer service order fulfilment process and inventory processing work flow product as needed
• Assess damaged clubs, identify and perform proper repairs necessary to salvage the item in a safe and efficient manner
• Assist club repair technicians with assembly of club heads and shafts that are received from manufacturers in accordance with each OEM’s specifications
• Assist with process steps required to refinish clubs utilizing polishing and sandblasting equipment in an effort to increase overall condition of clubs
• Provide warehouse inventory pick activities required to collect products for service and refinishing process flow.
• Assist with keeping repair service area safe, clean and organized on a daily basis
• Provide operations department with redundancy efforts required in other areas of the warehouse like shipping, receiving and material handling as needed

Experience/Skills required:

• Experienced with advanced golf club repair skills and processes
• Computer literate and competent in the use of Microsoft Office™ applications
• Experience using inventory management software is a plus
• Ability to follow instructions as received and hold self-accountable for meeting process expectations
• Strong attention to detail; tenacity to ensure accuracy of all assignments completed
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Good organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and with a team
• High school level math and reading skills
• Problem solving skills required
• Desire to apply continuous improvement towards all tasks and process steps
• Ability to lift boxes of golf merchandise up to 25 pounds
