We need spray Technicians that have an understanding of weed, insect, and disease identification. Must be able to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing.

Must be able to communicate professionally with managers, supervisors, crew members, property managers, onsite managers, and residents.

LMP is a Drug-Free workplace and candidates must pass a pre-hire drug screen and background check. Clean Florida Driver's License (3 years) preferred.

Responsibilities and duties

Duties :

• Properly mixes and applies pesticides and fertilizers, and completes required daily paperwork
• Ability to read and understand product labels
• Safely operates spray vehicle and completes required daily paperwork
• Reports to Supervisor, Crew Foreman, or Division Manager as required
• Assists Crew Foreman / Supervisor in day-to-day operations and any other assigned duties
• Ensures work is conducted in compliance with strict safety and company policy guidelines
• Responsible for the overall care of equipment used
• Performs duties deemed necessary by Division Manager / Supervisor (not limited to pesticide and / or fertilizer applications)

Requirements :

• Valid Florida driver's license (Ages 21 ) with three years of driving history, and an acceptable driving record
• Overtime may be required
• Some weekend work may be required
• Must have an understanding of weed, insect, and disease identification
• Must be able to speak, read, and legibly write in English
• Will work in harsh environments : heat and humidity
• Safely applies pesticides and fertilizers after obtaining 40-hour required training
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis
• Must obtain Green Industries BMP certificate within 30 days of hire
